I’ve had the joy and pleasure of riding for over 30 yrs. My husband Ron and I bought our first Harley in 1984. He taught me how to ride it by sitting on the back and being my training wheels. I learned early on that my joy and passion comes from not only riding but planning and leading the rides as well. It’s important to me that everyone who attends one of my rides is safe, enjoys the ride and can take something away that is memorable. My goal is to “WOW the riders”.
I’ve had the good fortune and pleasure of riding for over 30 yrs. When I bought my husband, Ron, his first Harley in 1984, we were introduced into the biker community, and little did we know this would become a life long hobby for both of us. During those 30+ years, we’ve been faithful members of the National Harley Owners Group, affectionately called HOG, and have belonged to 5 HOG Chapters in 4 different states. I’ve served as the Ladies of Harley (LOH) Officer for three of those Chapters and currently LOH Officer for Scottsdale HOG 3160. My most memorable and proud moment was when I lead a group of 100+ riders from Tucson to Phoenix to attend the HOG Regional Rally in 1991. Oh yes I failed to mention about 10 of the riders behind me included the CEO and other leadership from the Harley Davidson Motor Company!
As a female rider, who rides a big touring bike, it’s important to me to be an inspiration, a source of encouragement, empowerment, and a mentor to other female riders.
