Biography

I’m Valerie Thompson. In 2016, I became the first female rider over 300 mph at a top speed of 304.263 mph at the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials and earning the title of “Worlds Fastest Female Motorcycle Racer.”  I set a new record of 328 mph at the 2018 DRLA Speed Week before surviving a horrific crash at 343 mph at the Australia World Speed Trials in 2018. Currently, I hold eight land speed records, am a member in seven different 200 MPH Clubs and one 300 MPH Club. I am the first female appointed to the Bonneville 200 MPH Club Board of Directors and will be inducted to the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2018.  My current quest to become the world’s fastest motorcycle racer is the subject of P-51 Pictures’ and MN8 Films’ upcoming feature documentary, Rockets and Titans. My racing accomplishments have earned me the moniker of “America’s Queen of Speed.”
